The syrup may crystallize! 


 
 
- Relax, it´s normal behavior.
 
The syrup may crystallize, which is due to the sugar’s reaction to oxygen, and the sugar molecules crystallize. The process starts with a visible "fog" in the bottle, which gradually accumulates into small white sugar lumps.
 
 
 
What may the solution be?
 
DO NOT throw away the syrup, but put the bottle in hot water for melting the sugar lumps, and shake. You may pour the syrup into a saucepan and heat, and pour back into the bottle. If the syrup boils, foam is produced, which may be removed before the syrup is poured back into the bottle.
